As you approach my Degree Show space you see a security rope controlled by guard. The guard has only been told to ask every seventh person for ID, the ones that have ID gain access to the installation. You will then enter the red room where the only work in the space is a small A4 frame. Inside the frame is a piece of leather with a code encrypted/laser cut into it. The code is a photograph converted into text file in order to protect the identity of the image. This piece ties up together all the other works, it aims to control how you, the viewer, sees the work. It controls who is allowed in, when and why. It plays around with borders systems, security, airports, identity and courage.
